Program Manager

ADP is hiring a Program Manager. In this role you help lead the way by ensuring that our benefits programs meet the needs of our clients and associates alike. The Program Manager reports to the Sr. Director of Field Enablement and plays a key role in achieving the vision of simplifying the way we work, making it easier for our associates and clients, gaining efficiencies, and delivering experience‑based solutions. What you’ll do: Execute strategic plans defined by senior leadership; establish, manage, and publish comprehensive project plans. Determine success criteria for overall program through gathering client and team feedback and senior leadership direction. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on all program deliverables. Establish comprehensive written and verbal communication plans evaluating program tasks, milestones, dependencies, issues, and escalations; conduct program meetings, minutes, executive briefings, and issue‑management tracking. Communicate overall project milestones, risk, scope, and expectations, integration, budget, and resource allocation to all organizations and key stakeholders. Be accountable for meeting project schedule and results, and the quality of deliverables. Manage program scope: obtain approvals for scope changes, elevate critical‑path issues, resolve resource conflicts. Continuously upgrade knowledge and skills on payroll, compliance, standard operating procedures, administrative practices, and related tools. Organize daily schedule to handle a high volume of inbound calls; phone time may increase during peak seasons. What you can expect on a typical day: Execute and manage complex business projects spanning multiple organizations. Engage with stakeholders at all business levels. Provide regular status updates and deliverables. TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE (Requirements) 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience. Experience managing large project teams across multiple functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and facilitation abilities. Ability to align strategic vision to tactical initiatives. Strong collaboration, decision‑making, business perspective, and problem‑solving skills. 10–20% travel. A college degree is a plus but not required. Other acceptable experiences: military experience or equivalent project‑management experience. Bonus points for these (Preferred Qualifications) PMP or equivalent professional project‑management certification. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain highly complex, leveled, and balanced project plans using tools such as Workfront or Smartsheet. Extensive knowledge of products, services, and implementation processes. Proven success in managing multi‑line product projects and maintaining effective project‑team relationships in a highly matrixed environment. Ability to work effectively with aggressive, demanding clients and project teams under pressure. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills for multiple, diverse, conflicting projects. Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and leadership skills for executive‑level interactions. Strong risk‑management and mitigation skills.
