Southern Hobby is seeking a Warehouse Associate, with responsibilities ranging from pulling/shipping/packing orders, stocking inventory, cycle counting, loading/unloading freight and other tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager. We\u2019re looking for someone who has a great attention to detail and can work at a solid, consistent pace with accuracy. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday. Southern Hobby Distribution is a dynamic environment, filled with associates passionate about the collectible industry. We work hard and we have lots of fun doing it! We are the #1 US distributor for exciting brands such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood, and several other leading trading card games. We are also an authorized distributor for Panini, Topps, Upper Deck, Leaf, and TriStar sports cards and memorabilia. In addition, we carry collectible toys, RPGs, miniatures, and board games. Duties/Responsibilities Pulling, packing, and shipping orders. Use of RF Handheld Equipment Assists with inventory control and preventing shrinkage Helping maintain organization of the warehouse Maintain a positive work atmosphere that strengthens the team Load and unload freight in a safe and efficient manner Learn and memorize warehouse products Complete other duties as assigned by warehouse leads or Management staff Conducting physical inventory and adjusting discrepancies Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues Other duties are assigned by leadership Regular and reliable attendance Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Ability to follow safe warehouse working practices, as instructed. Ability to take directions and follow procedures. Strong attention to detail and accuracy (High proficiency) Supervisory Responsibilities None Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements 1-3 years’ experience working in a warehouse preferred. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Safely. Able to be continuedly standing for the whole shift period. #J-18808-Ljbffr
