Store Manager
The Store Manager is responsible for the successful operation and profitability of the store which includes training, directing and monitoring all department staff.
Responsibilities include greeting and servicing customers per company standards of World Class customer service, providing professional leadership for the staff and the store, showing the highest level of respect and integrity in day-to-day actions, handling customer complaints appropriately, ensuring the store is inviting and shoppable, maintaining in-stock products, managing special orders, answering the phone per company standards, training staff on customer service, ensuring compliance with food safety certifications, meeting sales and operational expectations, managing schedules, assigning tasks, partnering with department managers, maintaining store appearance and cleanliness, and remaining flexible to changing work demands.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years management experience in grocery and/or related retail, ability to manage changing priorities, passing food safety training courses, obtaining forklift certification, excellent customer service skills, being highly organized with great attention to detail, cashier training, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
