The Role
- Lead medical standards and ensure high-quality, progressive veterinary care across the hospital.
- Provide clinical care in appointments, dentistry, surgery, and case management.
- Mentor and coach veterinarians; foster a culture of teamwork, learning, and client education.
- Guide medical policies and protocols; ensure accurate, thorough medical records.
- Partner with hospital leadership on scheduling, workflows, and inventory plans.
- Recommend equipment additions, support budgeting, and track key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with state practice regulations, OSHA requirements, and quality benchmarks.
- Promote clear communication with clients and between doctors to support continuity of care.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Washington (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- 3-5+ years of clinical experience with strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
- Proven leadership, communication, and team-building abilities
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Eligibility to work in the United States
