️ Assignment Snapshot

Location: New York City
Day Shift: 7:00 AM 8:30 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM 8:30 AM
Duration: 13 weeks (high likelihood of extension)

Staffing Structure

Needs include:
• 4 Part-Time OR 2 Full-Time NPs (Night Shift)
• 2 Part-Time OR 1 Full-Time NP (Day Shift)

Your Role

You will provide advanced neonatal care in a Level IV NICU , including:
️ Newborn admissions and initial stabilization
️ Ongoing management of critically ill neonates
️ Coordinating care from admission through discharge
️ Delivery room coverage for high-risk births
️ Case management and multidisciplinary collaboration

Clinical Environment

EMR: Epic
Level IV NICU (highest acuity neonatal care setting)
Strong interdisciplinary team environment (neonatology, nursing, OB, pediatrics)

Requirements

️ Active New York State NP license (required)
️ Minimum 2 years recent Level IV NICU experience
️ Must be fully vaccinated for COVID & Flu
️ Strong experience in critical neonatal care and delivery room coverage
️ Comfort managing high-acuity newborn cases independently and in teams
