Responsibilities Coordinate daily clinical activities and workflow within the department. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care delivery. Actively promote customer satisfaction as well as a positive work environment. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care activities consider growth and development factors appropriate to the age (Adults, Geriatrics) in collaboration with the Nurse Manager. Report any significant changes in the condition of the Unit, any incidents and/or personnel problems. Monitor quality, safety, and patient satisfaction indicators and support performance improvement initiatives. Participate in incident review, risk reduction, and patient safety activities. Support department leadership with audits, reporting, and operational projects. Maintain knowledge of and is responsible for Nursing Quality Improvement activities on assigned shift. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure safe patient care. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in the United States; BSN preferred. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in specialty. BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
