Duties of an exceptional physical therapist (PT) include: Evaluate resident’s conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants Maintain resident confidence & protect facility by keeping information confidential Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contribute to team effort PT Requirements Include: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program Current New York State Physical Therapist (PT) License Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting for a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) position at our client facility Amsterdam Nursing Home located in New York, New York.
