CNC OPERATOR
WAUSAU HYDRAULICS & MACHINE INC.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We need a detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our production team. You will load raw materials, write program to machine parts, and inspect finished components to ensure they match exact specifications. Key Responsibilities Machine Setup: Load raw materials, secure workpieces, and mount cutting tools or fixtures. Operation & Monitoring: Run pre-programmed CNC mills, lathes, or routers and watch cycles to catch errors. Quality Control: Measure finished parts using precision tools like calipers and micrometers. Maintenance: Perform daily machine cleaning, clear chips, and conduct routine equipment upkeep. Blueprint Reading: Read technical drawings and follow design instructions. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus. Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment. Technical Skills: Basic math and computer skills; ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
