This role involves providing high-quality patient care in various inpatient MedSurg units. Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Provide professional nursing care to acutely and chronically ill patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry equipment
• Administer medications and intravenous solutions according to facility policy
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of patient care activities
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• BLS required
• ACLS preferred (EKG competency exam required during onboarding)
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
• Proficiency in trach care, chest tube management, and IV maintenance
• Experience with insulin, heparin, Cardizem, and other specified drips
