ABOUT UNRIVALED Unrivaled is a premier professional women’s 3v3 basketball league showcasing the top players in the sport. Our mission is to elevate the profile of women’s basketball through exceptional talent, groundbreaking partnerships, and unparalleled fan experiences. JOB OVERVIEW Unrivaled is seeking an experienced independent videographer to provide video production services in support of its basketball clubs during the 2026–2027 Unrivaled season. The engagement is expected to begin on December 14, 2026, with onsite production activities in Miami, Florida beginning on or around December 26, 2026, and continuing through approximately mid-March 2027, subject to completion of the agreed scope of services. The contractor will provide video production services for league, club, and branded content, including capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality video assets for use across Unrivaled’s digital and social media platforms. Services include producing game coverage, feature content, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and other video deliverables that support league, club, and partner initiatives. The contractor will collaborate with players, club and league representatives, and other creative contributors to capture compelling content while exercising independent professional judgment regarding the manner and means of performing the services. Except where onsite attendance is reasonably required for games, events, shoots, or other production activities, the contractor will determine how and where to perform the services necessary to complete the agreed deliverables. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide videography and editing services for original content, including player features, social media series, branded content, and behind-the-scenes storytelling. Coordinate with Content, Social, and other creative contributors to develop creative concepts and execute approved projects from pre-production through final delivery. Capture high-quality video footage at games, practices, league events, studio productions, and off-court shoots. Edit and deliver video content optimized for multiple distribution channels, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, broadcast, partner channels, and other designated platforms. Produce video deliverables that align with Unrivaled’s visual identity, storytelling standards, and applicable creative guidelines. Select and incorporate music, sound design, motion graphics, and other post-production elements to enhance storytelling, as appropriate. Organize and deliver production assets in accordance with agreed file management and delivery requirements. Monitor emerging video production techniques, editing styles, and platform trends, and incorporate relevant best practices into the services provided. QUALIFICATIONS 3–5 years of video production experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or documentary-style storytelling Strong shooting skills with professional cameras, lenses, and audio equipment Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro; proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom a plus Proven ability to edit compelling, narrative-driven content for social and digital audiences Strong understanding of platform-specific video best practices for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and broadcast Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end production under tight deadlines Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail from capture to final export Flexible schedule and willingness to travel for league coverage Passion for storytelling in women’s sports and building a bold, culturally relevant sports brand Must be located in the Miami, FL area or be willing to move there during the season (relocation expenses are not provided).
