Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team at Alto Pharmacy. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable full‑stack solutions for internal and external users, with an emphasis on both backend and frontend work. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable full‑stack solutions in Ruby on Rails and modern front‑end technologies. Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver customer value. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Contribute to AI and machine learning initiatives, integrating them into existing platforms. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of applications. Troubleshoot and debug high‑volume, high‑throughput systems. Leverage observability, alerting, and metrics to measure impact. Work cross‑functionally to drive innovation in software solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer. Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails, decoupling monoliths into externalized services with API interfaces. Full‑stack development expertise: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases, APIs, server‑side tech. Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Strong interest in AI technologies or experience integrating AI solutions. Passion for building scalable, efficient, high‑quality software. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred experience in health‑tech or pharmacy, supply‑chain or commerce technology. Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Understanding of CI/CD and modern development workflows; implementation of backend‑for‑frontend architectures. Benefits & Package Salary range: $124,800 – $156,000. No commission. Not required to travel. Eligible for legally required benefits for short‑term assignments, including paid sick time, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, and company minimum essential coverage. Location Remote; subject to U.S. employment eligibility.
