Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services within an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Develop and implement individualized, intensive rehabilitation treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and recovery goals
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care throughout the recovery journey
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility to practice in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) environment
• Familiarity with treatment of stroke, neurological, and traumatic injury populations
• Knowledge of CARF accreditation standards and comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation programs
