Location: Lynchburg, VA Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Permanent) Practice Setting: Private Dental Practice / General Dentistry Schedule: Monday - Thursday | Optional Friday & Saturday
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a growing private dental practice in Lynchburg, VA. The ideal candidate will provide preventive dental care, patient education, and support high-quality clinical outcomes in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning
- Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal charting
- Take dental radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist with treatment planning and patient care coordination
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
- Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia RDH license required
- Degree in Dental Hygiene required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- General dentistry experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
