In addition, you'll play a key role in responding to commercial plumbing service calls, providing rapid and effective solutions when clients need us most. Your Responsibilities Will Include Supervising and leading a team of 2–4 apprentices on commercial new construction and retrofit projects Coordinating installations to meet project timelines and quality standards Responding to scheduled or emergency commercial plumbing service calls as needed Ensuring all plumbing work meets industry codes and best practices Inspecting installations and troubleshooting potential issues before they become problems Working alongside contractors to streamline project execution Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations What You Bring To The Table 6–8 years of commercial plumbing experience, with at least 2–4 years in a Lead / Foreman role Valid Texas Journeyman Plumbing License (Texas Med Gas Endorsement preferred) Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a team effectively Deep knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques Flexibility and readiness to take on commercial service calls in addition to project‑based work Ability to problem‑solve and make decisions under pressure Commitment to safety & compliance with all local and state regulations Willingness to travel occasionally (All travel expenses covered) Valid driver’s license & clean driving record Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug and background check About RLP Mechanical For over 15 years, RLP Mechanical has been a trusted name in commercial plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC across the DFW area.
