Lab Technician

Quality Lab Technician ($17/hr) - Lubbock, TX Key Responsibilities + Perform visual quality inspections on seed samples + Conduct lab testing (pH, moisture, protein assays, titrations) + Complete germination testing (warm & cool) + Analyze seed purity and perform accurate seed counts + Collect and organize product samples Requirements + High school diploma or GED + Degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Natural Science, Chemistry, Biology or Science related field is a plus** + Experience in quality inspection, lab work, or agriculture preferred + Experience with seed testing, farm work, or manufacturing QC + Basic knowledge of biology, chemistry, or QC processes + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Must provide Passport or Birth Certificate for onboarding Schedule & Environment + Standard: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM + Peak season (Nov-Jan): Day & night shifts available, up to 50 hrs/week + Feb-May: Weekend availability may be required + Fast-paced lab and production environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Deal, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
