Lead Person

Shift: 6:30am-5pm Pay: $29 Are you someone who likes to lead others? Can you work in an environment where you set the rhythm to keep operations moving? Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Lead Person at our surface operations in Lathrop, Missouri. This position is responsible for communicating standards of excellence, in the daily work assignments of the assigned team, to meet safety and production goals, as outlined by management. Essential Functions Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta's Guardian Angel culture Establish and maintain effective communication within all areas of operation Conduct regular inspections for safety, housekeeping and mechanical issues Implement and apply all safety rules, regulations and procedures of the mine Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately Work in a team environment Operate heavy mobile equipment Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of team members Train workers in operation of equipment and safety procedures Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week. Minimum Education Details High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Minimum Experience Required 4+ years related experience Valid US driver's license Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work with minimal supervision Knowledge of MSHA regulations Effective verbal communication Knowledge of heavy mobile equipment and tools including their design, use, and maintenance Physical Abilities Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round General physical activities include climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching with hands and arms, and handling materials #J-18808-Ljbffr Martin Marietta
