Associate Attorney - Real Estate

Anderson & Brown LLC

Job Description

Job Description

Job description:

About Anderson & Brown, LLC

Anderson & Brown is a well-established and growing South Carolina law firm focused on residential and commercial real estate transactions, probate, and related legal services. We have built our reputation on exceptional client service, strong relationships with real estate professionals, and efficient closings.

As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate Attorney who wants to build a long-term career in real estate law while working in a collaborative, supportive environment.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing transactions, working directly with clients, and becoming an integral part of a growing practice.

What You’ll Do

Your primary responsibility will be managing residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.

Responsibilities include:

· Conduct residential real estate closings

· Review title examinations and resolve title issues

· Prepare and review closing documents

· Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and title professionals

· Ensure transactions comply with South Carolina real estate laws and lender requirements

· Deliver an exceptional client experience throughout every transaction

· Work closely with our experienced support staff to maintain efficient workflows

During your first year, your focus will be on residential closings. You will not be expected to generate business, handle litigation, or manage probate matters while you become fully integrated into the firm.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has:

· Active South Carolina Bar license

· 3–5 years of experience practicing real estate law

· Strong experience conducting residential real estate closings

· Experience reviewing title work and resolving title issues

· Excellent communication and client service skills

· Strong organizational and time management abilities

· Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously

· A collaborative, team-first mindset

· Confidence working independently while knowing when to ask questions

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will:

· Learn the firm’s systems and processes

· Successfully manage residential closings with mentorship from the managing attorney

· Develop confidence handling transactions independently

· Build trusted relationships with our clients and referral partners

· Become the primary attorney handling the firm’s residential closing practice

Why Join Anderson & Brown?

· Established and respected law firm

· Steady pipeline of real estate transactions

· Collaborative and supportive culture

· Strong administrative and paralegal support

· Opportunity for professional growth and increased responsibility

· Performance bonus opportunities

· Long-term career path with a growing firm

If you’re looking for a firm where you can practice high-quality real estate law, work alongside an experienced team, and grow your career without the pressure of originating business, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today by submitting your resume and a brief cover letter describing your real estate experience.
