Systems Administrator

As a key member of our client's IT team, you will play a critical role in the management and administration of all internal IT infrastructure. Under the direction of the Systems Administration Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the Technology team, including DevOps Engineers, InfoSec, and Support, to maintain IT Systems and ensure the continued operation and security of our internal infrastructure. What you'll do: Manage and administer Microsoft 365 applications and services Oversee and administer cloud environments on AWS and Azure Maintain users in Azure Active Directory Develop and deploy automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Python to streamline system processes Maintain Single Sign On integrations with external SAAS platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that align with business objectives Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to server and network infrastructure Setup new hire accounts and manage onboard and offboarding procedures Assist in regular cleanup of user accounts and resources Troubleshoot and resolve systems related incidents and serve as escalation point for helpdesk team members Create documentation for end user and new hire onboard training Create and maintain internal documentation for the IT team Assist with the deployment and configuration of user devices with internal MDM (Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro) Work with the Information Security team to implement security policy according to business needs Ensure internal workstation and server infrastructure is kept up to date Required Skills and Experience: Jira and Confluence experience (preferred) PowerShell (1-2 years of experience required) Python (preferred) Automation/scripting experience Ability to proactively anticipate issues and create plans for remediation 3-4 years Systems Administration experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Familiarity with Azure AD IAM and RBAC Windows and Mac proficiency Experience in healthcare a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills Networking knowledge Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 applications and services Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation Solid understanding of server and network infrastructure Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Experience with Windows and Mac MDM Key Responsibilities Day to Day: Manage and administer Microsoft 365 applications and services as needed Oversee and administer cloud environments on AWS and Azure Maintain users in Azure Active Directory Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification Network certification 2 years of experience of Systems Administration 2 years of Powershell, Azure and MS365 experience 2 years of automation/scripting experience Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
