What You'll Do
As a Direct Care Staff member, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily needs and ensuring they thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting individuals with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Providing companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and uplifting atmosphere.
Monitoring and ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals under your care.
Supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting their independence.
Documenting care activities and maintaining accurate records as required.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who are compassionate, dependable, and ready to make a meaningful impact. To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
At least 1 year of experience in a similar caregiving or direct support role.
A genuine passion for helping others and a patient, empathetic approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
A commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of the individuals you support.
