Job Description Pepsi Bottling Ventures is the nation’s largest private bottler and distributor of Pepsi beverages. A/R Specialist Role Overview Manages an Accounts Receivable portfolio of up to $10 million. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Analyzes customer accounts for aging, payment practices, and past‑due balances. Resolves issues regarding past‑due items, pricing, quantity disputes, and unauthorized products. Communicates with customers via phone, email, fax, and post regarding account information. Communicates with the appropriate Pepsi Bottling Ventures branches and corporate departments regarding account information. Makes recommendations to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor regarding customer accounts. Generates and transmits statements per customer and management request. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years related business experience managing an accounts receivable portfolio are required. Associate’s Degree in Business Administration preferred. Some accounting courses are preferred. Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent oral and written communication skills and good analytical skills are required. Must enjoy interacting and working with people. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Must be able to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
