Westaff is Hiring for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Shelton, CT! Schedule: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay: $26-$30/hr , based on experience Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Perform facility repairs, maintenance, and required documentation
- Repair leaking/clogged pipes, air lines, electrical and lighting fixtures
- Complete light welding and carpentry tasks
- Support seasonal grounds work, including snow removal
- Maintain and install equipment: compressors, HVAC, elevators, lifts, exhaust units
- Maintain production equipment: tow motors, grinders, dust collectors, wrap machines, hoists
- Maintain company vehicles
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance
- Work occasional overtime and holidays as needed
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance
- 8+ years of maintenance experience
- Welding, boiler repair, electronics, or auto repair certifications a plus
- Valid CT driver's license required
- Ability to read blueprints, SOPs, and troubleshoot issues
- Strong math skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of auto mechanics and ability to operate a plow truck
- Comfortable working at heights and using testing equipment
- OSHA 10, LOTO, confined space, fall protection, CPR, and forklift experience preferred
