Position Overview\nEmbrace Life Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to enrich our team. In this full-time remote role, you will be pivotal in providing specialized mental health support to individuals grappling with trauma, helping them navigate their recovery journeys and achieve improved mental well-being.

Our center focuses on fostering a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment tailored for patients dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Work Environment\nThis position operates within a fully remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements while ensuring effective support and communication with peers. Our team thrives on collaboration, and although you will work autonomously, you will have consistent opportunities to engage with fellow mental health professionals. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's individual history and needs, ensuring the development of tailored, effective treatment plans. \n
- Design and execute personalized intervention strategies that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques. \n
- Implement specific therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings. \n
- Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at providing patients a communal space to express their feelings, share experiences, and build coping skills. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care is provided, enhancing treatment effectiveness. \n
- Offer timely crisis intervention for patients during heightened emotional distress or trauma-related emergencies. \n
- Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and therapeutic resources to foster understanding and support systems. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to meet legal standards and ethical codes while keeping a seamless record of patient progress. \n
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities, sharing insights and strategies focused on trauma-informed care. \n
- Commit to continual learning by staying informed about the latest advancements in trauma therapy and treatment methodologies. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California. \n
- A foundational understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, particularly those focused on trauma recovery. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in all interactions. \n
- The aptitude to maintain composure and professionalism in fast-paced and high-stress situations. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications to ensure smooth operations. \n
- Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary mental health environment. \n

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-licensure experience is highly desired. \n
- Demonstrated experience in administering trauma-focused therapies and interventions. \n
- Prior work within outpatient settings with diverse populations, enhancing your ability to connect with a variety of clients. \n
