Job Summary

We are looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with patients in their home, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. We have several Counties that we service. OAKLAND COUNTY Southfield, Pontiac and Troy area are the cities we are hiring for. Caregivers should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. 

Responsibilities 

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, meal preparation, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care, help with shopping and medical appointments. 
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor 
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert 

Qualifications

• Home care experience
• High School Diploma or GED 
• One-year prior professional experience 
• Driver’s license required 
• Ability to obtain a CPR/FIRST AID within 60 days
