Loss Prevention SpecialistHot JobSeattle, WA 98105OverviewSalary Range $24.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionAbout the role:The Loss Prevention Specialist provides additional support to the retail operations by deterring theft and performing arrests as necessary. Loss Prevention Specialists ensure that the client, its associates, and customers are provided with a safe and pleasant working and shopping environment. This position reports to the Regional Security Retail Manager of the area to which they are assigned.In this role, your responsibilities will be:Conduct undercover surveillance to detect and apprehend shopliftersRecover asset and/or make safe apprehensionsMaintain strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and the preservation of evidencePrepare incident reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and other activities as assignedTestify in court concerning any criminal or civil casePerform other related duties as requiredQualificationsAs a candidate you must have:Two plus years loss prevention experienceProficient in PC and iOS hardware and softwareGeneral operating knowledge of retail security camera equipment and CCTVComplete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certification; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise notedMust be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer serviceHave flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when neededWe offer:$24.00 HourlyHealth, Dental, Vision, and 401k for eligible employeesPaid Time Off including Sick/Safe TimeA dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunity for growthSecurity Agency #729Private Detective #1760Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer
