CDR General Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bilingual Quality Control Helper for a full-time position in Baton Rouge, LA. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, have strong attention to detail, and be willing to assist with quality inspections and general quality control activities in a metal fabrication and manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in industrial quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist quality control personnel with inspecting fabricated metal parts and components.

• Perform basic visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or inconsistencies.

• Help verify product measurements and specifications using basic measuring tools.

• Assist with documenting inspection results and maintaining quality control records.

• Identify and report nonconforming materials or products to supervisors.

• Support quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.

• Communicate effectively in English and Spanish with production and quality teams.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Follow company safety guidelines and established quality standards.

• Perform additional quality control and production support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, quality control, metal fabrication, or general labor preferred.

• Basic knowledge of quality inspections and measuring tools is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Basic math and measurement skills.

• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to learn quality control procedures and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
