Travel RN - TelemetryAmerican Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a Level II teaching hospital, requiring 2 years of MS/Tele experience and an active MI RN license.Work in the Telemetry unit of an acute care teaching hospitalCare for adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoringNight shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (6:45pm-7:15am)Required to work every other weekendNo floating required outside of scopeNo on-call responsibilitiesEpic EMR used for documentation, experience preferredActive MI RN license requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredACLS and CPI certifications preferredMinimum 2 years of MS/Tele or Telemetry experience requiredPrior charge nurse experience preferredSkills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and use of Rapid Response/Code teamsExperience with IV therapy, central and peripheral line care, and blood product administration preferredRespiratory care skills including BiPAP/CPAP and tracheostomy management preferredRTO must be submitted at time of considerationProvide telemetry and medical-surgical nursing care to adult and geriatric patientsManage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) and heparin protocolsPerform wound care/wound vac management and monitor patients pre/post cardiac catheterization or MIScrub color requirement: royal blue or whiteFree parking available on-siteLocal candidates accepted with no radius ruleFirst-time travelers are welcome to apply
