Two Way Radio Technician

Job description:

Over 35 years of experience supporting customers in the Government, Private, and Industrial sectors. We operate in a highly technical field and are looking for motivated individuals to join our team of communications professionals.

Position Overview

This role involves the installation, repair, programming, and maintenance of land-mobile radio (LMR) and wireless communications systems. RF and/or IT experience is a strong plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Install mobile, portable, and base radio communication systems following industry standards and vendor specifications.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of wireless communication equipment.
• Provide customer support both on-site and remotely.
• Program radios and wireless equipment per industry practices and vendor criteria.
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results to repair and configure equipment.
• Support the operation and maintenance of complex radio systems and 911 communications centers.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Strong technical aptitude; RF or IT background preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers.

Schedule & Benefits

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week), with some overtime and on-call work.
