Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Manage patient care with a ratio of 1:5, sometimes 1:6
• Provide care for patients with common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, DM, HTN, post-op ortho, and lap choles
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Work collaboratively with a patient care team, including Patient Care Techs
• Utilize the EPIC charting system effectively

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active RN license
• BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications required
• Experience in dysrhythmia reading
• Comfortable with CPAP and heparin drips
