Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures while ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other healthcare team members in the Operating Room.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions throughout the surgical process.
• Maintain a sterile environment and comply with infection control policies.
• Document patient information and care rendered accurately in electronic health records.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as needed.

Holiday Requirement

Candidates will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. For contracts covering only 2 of these holidays, candidates will work 1 of the 2 holidays.

Schedule Requirements

The nursing schedule includes 5 shifts of 8 hours each, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates must be available for weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.
• Ability to respond to call requirements with a 30-minute response time.

• Candidates may have opportunities to care for patients with COVID-19.
• This is a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
• Floating and weekend shifts may be required as needed.
