Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Laboratory Associate for an Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role involves performing experiments, organizing data, and analyzing results within a laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have experience following technical protocols, conducting routine studies, and working with standard biophysical characterization equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct laboratory experiments with limited supervision, following established protocols and applicable guidelines
- Perform routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results
- Record, organize, analyze, and interpret data, ensuring data quality
- Develop and implement new protocols with moderate review
- Communicate data and interpretation to the work group
- Effectively troubleshoot equipment and experimental difficulties
- Contribute to internal reports, presentations, and regulatory documents
Requirements:
- Master's degree OR
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR
- Associate's degree and 4 years of experience OR
- High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
- Experience following technical protocols and conducting routine laboratory studies
- Ability to clearly communicate experimental results, findings, and conclusions
- Familiarity with standard biophysical characterization equipment such as liquid chromatography, CE, or compendial instrumentation (pH, osmometer, SoloVPE, etc.)
Pay range: up to $28.10 per hour
