Drafter

Greentech Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for a Drafter.  

Greentech Manufacturing, Inc. manufactures Crown Royal Stoves, a line of outdoor furnaces and automated biomass boilers that are used to heat homes and businesses. We also provide a full line of plumbing and heating products. 

Drafter Job Duties:

• Design and prepare part assemblies & drawings using SolidWorks. 

• Produce effective product designs by using their understanding of manufacturing techniques. 

• Add structural details to plans from their knowledge of building techniques. 

• Prepare multiple versions of designs. 

• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures on drawings. 

• Organize all files according to model, part, job, etc. 

• Assist walk-in & call-in customers by quickly understanding the customer’s needs, materials that should be used, & making recommendations when needed.

Required Skills: Excellent Math and Decimal Reading; Problem Solving; Attention to Detail & Quality; Mechanical and Technical Skills with the Understanding of SolidWorks Technology; Blueprint Reading; Strong Communication Skills; Tape Measure Reading; Time Management; Computer Literate; Organizational Skills; Ability to work Independently while staying on task; Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and reach overhead; Ability to stand/walk for 2 hours per day; Minimal Heavy Lifting.  

Education:Applicant must have a 2-year associate’s degree from a technical institute or community college for Drafting; 12 months previous experience.
