Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Catheter Lab (Per Diem Day) Reference Number: 0000246224 Location: 99 Highway 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755 (CMC Nursing) Department: Cardiac Catheter Lab Pay Range: $46.90–$63.09 per hour Shift: Day Employment Type: Per Diem (Hourly) Responsibilities Organize and administer individualized, age‑specific professional care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary intervention, peripheral angiograms and interventions, permanent pacemaker procedures, and neurological angiograms and interventions. Provide nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with the objectives, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the State Nurse Practice Act. Maintain the standards of nursing care as established. Participate in patient teaching. Participate in unit Quality Improvement evaluation activities. Use an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age‑specific needs and provide age‑specific treatment. Respond to on‑call component with a 30‑minute response time. Be on call for weekends and holidays. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. At least two years of critical care nursing experience. Currently registered professional nurse in the State of New Jersey. BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider certification. ACLS course completion status. Completion of the Intravenous Therapy course at Community Medical Center. Successful completion of all required orientation programs.
