Growing transportation company operating 26-ft OTR straight/box trucks is immediately hiring 3 experienced professionals for our Fleet Compliance, Safety & Administrative Management team.

THREE SHIFTS AVAILABLE

☀️ AM SHIFT
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

FLEX SHIFT
Monday–Friday | 11:00 AM–7:00 PM

PM SHIFT
Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM–12:00 AM

⚠️ MANDATORY TRAINING AVAILABILITY

Regardless of the permanent shift selected, ALL NEW HIRES MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY–FRIDAY, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM DURING THE INITIAL TRAINING PERIOD.

Training is completed during daytime office hours so every new team member receives the same hands-on instruction in our compliance systems, driver procedures, documentation standards, HOS review, ELD monitoring, paper logs, maintenance procedures and daily office operations.

If you cannot temporarily attend 8:00 AM–5:00 PM training, please do not apply at this time.

After successfully completing training, you will transition to your assigned permanent shift.

TRUCKING COMPLIANCE KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL GENERAL OFFICE POSITION.

Candidates should have previous professional experience in one or more of the following:

Trucking • Transportation • Fleet Operations • Safety • Compliance • Logistics • Dispatch • Driver Management

HOS KNOWLEDGE IS A MAJOR REQUIREMENT

Candidates must have working knowledge of commercial driver Hours of Service (HOS) requirements and be comfortable reviewing driver activity for potential compliance issues.

Knowledge or experience should include:

• 11-hour driving limit
• 14-hour on-duty window
• Required off-duty/rest periods
• 60/70-hour limits
• Recaps and resets
• Sleeper-berth concepts
• ELD records
• Paper logbooks
• Identifying missing, incomplete or potentially non-compliant logs

HOS/logbook knowledge may be evaluated during the interview or initial training process.

COMPENSATION & EVALUATION

Week 1 — Training: $10.00/hour
Week 2 — Training/Shadowing: $12.50/hour
Weeks 3–4: $15.00/hour
30-Day Performance Evaluation

Performance and compensation reviews may be conducted approximately every 90 days based on attendance, reliability, accuracy, compliance knowledge, work quality, initiative and overall performance.

Overtime opportunities may be available based on operational needs.

Compensation, overtime and worker classification will be administered in accordance with applicable federal, state and local requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

DRIVER COMPLIANCE & DAILY COMMUNICATION

• Conduct daily driver compliance check-ins
• Review required driver communications and documentation
• Monitor pre-trip and post-trip inspection submissions
• Review driver inspection documentation, photos and videos
• Follow up on missing compliance items
• Monitor route plans, ETAs and required check-ins
• Maintain accurate driver compliance records
• Document and escalate repeated compliance issues

HOURS OF SERVICE / ELD / LOGBOOKS

• Review HOS activity and available driving hours
• Review ELD records for accuracy and potential violations
• Review paper logbooks when applicable
• Identify missing or incomplete logs
• Compare supporting documentation when required
• Escalate potential HOS or logbook concerns to management
• Maintain organized compliance documentation

DRIVER QUALIFICATION & DOT FILES

• Maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files
• Track driver's licenses and medical certificates
• Monitor permit and registration expirations
• Maintain required driver documentation
• Assist with DOT audit preparation
• Maintain organized and retrievable compliance records
• Follow up on missing or expiring documents

FLEET & MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATION

• Track truck maintenance and preventive maintenance schedules
• Coordinate approved repair appointments
• Maintain maintenance records
• Track inspections and equipment documentation
• Maintain truck and equipment inventory records
• Follow up on unresolved maintenance concerns
• Escalate safety-related equipment concerns appropriately

DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

• Collect and organize BOLs and PODs
• Track receipts and driver paperwork
• Scan and upload documents
• Maintain accurate digital files
• Verify documents are properly completed and signed
• Assist with company paperwork and administrative operations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The strongest candidates will be:

✓ Experienced in trucking, fleet, logistics, dispatch, transportation, safety or compliance
✓ Knowledgeable about HOS, ELDs and/or paper logbooks
✓ Experienced communicating professionally with commercial drivers
✓ Highly organized and detail-oriented
✓ Comfortable identifying mistakes and following through until corrected
✓ Able to follow written SOPs and compliance checklists
✓ Comfortable working independently after training
✓ Confident using computers, tablets, scanning systems and digital files
✓ Professional by phone, text and written communication
✓ Dependable and punctual
✓ Comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment
✓ Able to meet the schedule requirements of the selected shift
✓ Available for the mandatory daytime training period
✓ Able to reliably commute to the Atlanta work location

If something is missing, inaccurate or unclear, the expectation is to identify the issue, obtain the correct information and follow the established procedure.

Selected candidates will begin the mandatory 8:00 AM–5:00 PM training schedule before transitioning to their permanent shift.
