As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Assessment in Hampton VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors drivers and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility parking areas trailer yards access points and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials directing visitors and delivery personnel and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required daily activity reports incident reports and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
