Description:
- Provide top-notch diagnostic radiology services efficiently and promptly.
- Collaborate with Radiologists and Primary Physicians to obtain high-quality radiographs.
- Stay current with evolving protocols in x-ray and CT, and assist colleagues in adopting new practices.
- Use advanced CT equipment to capture detailed images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image clarity.
- Assess CT scans to ensure they meet technical quality standards.
- Clearly explain procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited/approved school
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible to test within one (1) year.
- Knowledge of x-ray equipment and related technology
- Current BLS certification
