QA/QC Coordinator

QA/QC CoordinatorIES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a full-time QA/QC Coordinator in Auburn, Alabama. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.Job Summary:Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisionsIdentifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reportsMonitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issuesMaintains accurate QA/QC documentation and recordsReports quality performance metrics to managementCoordinates inspections, tests, and audits at various project stagesEnsures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulationsPerforms onsite inspections of equipment and installationsProactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first timePerforms work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reportsEnsures compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and proceduresQualifications:2-5 year's recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experienceHS Diploma/GEDUnderstanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installationsData Center experience is preferredElectrical Field experience preferredThrough knowledge of construction disciplinesProficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL/WORD)Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skillsSuccessfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehiclesCompany Overview:IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc.
