Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Newport, Vermont

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday-Friday

Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing a range of specialty exams independently at a critical access, 25-bed hospital. Candidates should be prepared to work in a supportive environment that encourages a peaceful lifestyle along with outdoor recreational activities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various ultrasound procedures and specialty exams.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Attend department quarterly education sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid certification in ultrasound technology.
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with a team.
• Experience in specialty ultrasound exams preferred.
