Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and formulate tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy procedures that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and functional capability
• Engage in collaboration with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and effective home exercise protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and conferences to ensure cohesive and coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited educational institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications in areas such as neurological and geriatric therapy are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to address a variety of complex medical and mobility-related conditions
