Materials Handler

DutiesStore incoming shipments in a holding area until items are processed for storage.Receive incoming shipments of medical supplies, blank forms, and publications from several supply sources.Input receipt into computer, mark receipt with index number/location.Check stock identification change lists to ensure the selection and assembly of proper items for issue.Complete necessary documentation with stock information and quantity for the requisitioning of medical supplies from a supplier.Set up proper storage areas for material within the general warehousing plan.Operate forklifts capable of lifting 2,000 to 6,000 pounds as high as 168 inches to move supplies.Comply with governing directions in respect to storage of medical items, blank forms, and publications.
