Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery, with at least 1 year of recent experience. License: Current Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRPA. Must-Have: - Labor and Delivery RN experience - Postpartum experience - Ability to circulate C-sections - Completed references in hand at time of submission - Previous travel assignment experience - Willingness to work every other weekend - Ability to float to other facilities Description: This position requires the administration of blood products and anticoagulation therapy. Candidates must assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries. Experience with cesarean sections is essential, as is the ability to care for postpartum patients. The RN will provide breastfeeding support and patient education, including car seat education. Candidates should be familiar with managing intravenous medications and various therapeutic interventions. The patient population is diverse, including high acuity patients with co-morbidities. Staffing will follow national guidelines to ensure quality care. This role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Candidates must complete two references from the most recent employer prior to submission. Floating to different departments or facilities may be required depending on staffing needs.
