Locums Neurology Physician Opportunity
We are seeking a Locums Neurology Physician for inpatient coverage in Richmond, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a neurologist comfortable managing acute neurologic conditions and performing a broad range of inpatient procedures.
Assignment Details
- Coverage Dates: Monday, December 14, 2026 at 7:00 AM Monday, December 21, 2026 at 7:00 AM
- Potential for additional future dates
- Inpatient Neurology coverage
Required Skills & Procedures
- Thrombolytic therapy for stroke
- EEG
- EMG
- Spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks
- Brain death examinations
- Lumbar punctures
- Subdural taps
Non-Mandatory:
- Nerve biopsy
- Muscle biopsy
- Nerve conduction velocity (NCV) testing
- Botulinum toxin (Botox) administration
- Evoked potentials
- Peripheral nerve blocks
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- For Board Eligible physicians, certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency
- Active Virginia medical license
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- Current BLS certification
- Flu vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions may be considered
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions may be considered
