Texas Tough Waste is growing, and we are looking for a reliable, hardworking, professional driver to join our team. This position is more than just simply driving a truck. We need someone who is comfortable operating large trucks and heavy trailers, can safely maneuver in tight residential and construction areas, and represents Texas Tough Waste professionally when dealing with our customers.

Responsibilities:

*Drive and operate heavy-duty pickup trucks and company equipment

*Deliver, pick-up, swap, and haul dumpsters to residential and commercial job sites

*Safely pull and maneuver large roll-off and dump trailers

*Back trailers into tight driveways, construction sites, and other challenging locations

*Properly secure loads and equipment before transport

*Transport waste and debris to local landfills and transfer stations

*Understand or quickly learn proper landfill/dump procedures, including weighing in/out and dump tickets

*Perform basic daily inspections of trucks, trailers, tires, lights, brakes, hydraulics, and safety equipment

*Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, dispatch, and landfill personnel

*Keep trucks and equipment clean and presentable

*Help maintain and efficient daily delivery and pickup schedule

*Utilize company software to track and follow all Standards of Procedures for Texas Tough Waste

*Follow all company and DOT safety procedures

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required:

*Experience driving large trucks and pulling heavy trailers

*Strong trailer-backing and maneuvering skills

*Comfortable working around construction sites and heavy equipment

*Clean and safe driving habits

*Good communication and customer-service skills

*Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

*Willing to work outside and perform physical task when necessary

*Able to properly secure loads and operate equipment safely

*Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferrred:

*CDL preferred

*Previous roll-off, dump trailer, waste-hauling, construction, equipment-hauling, or trucking experience

*Experience using local landfills and transfer stations

*Familiarity with Parker County, Fort Worth, and the surrounding DFW area

*Experience working with contractors and construction crews
