Responsibilities
- Administer and manage medications, including narcotics, and monitor patient responses.
- Administer IV fluids in accordance with unit policies and procedures.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including age-appropriate care for infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care; establish priorities and adjust nursing actions as needed.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately; communicate effectively with the care team, patients, and families.
- Provide patient and family education; ensure a safe, clean, and organized care environment; report outcomes and participate in shift handoffs and transfers.
- Demonstrate leadership by coordinating tasks among team members while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies; collaborate with other providers to optimize patient care.

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Nursing degree (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) from an accredited program
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week
- Experience in labor and delivery or women's health care preferred; not mandatory
- Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide age-appropriate care across the care continuum
