Job Details Setting: Interventional Radiology / Procedural Care Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Location: Rochester, New York Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 15 weeks Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts Shift Duration: 10 hours Schedule Notes: Weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed by the unit Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 - $2,760 Job Requirements Active New York State Registered Nurse license BLS certification required ACLS certification required Telemetry experience required At least 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology RN experience required Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting Comfort with procedural nursing, recovery support, and patient monitoring responsibilities Responsibilities Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures and provide pre-procedure nursing assessment Monitor patients during procedures and provide ongoing clinical support in the IR suite Assist with post-procedure recovery, including PACU and extended stay care Support a multidisciplinary healthcare team in delivering safe, high-quality patient care Care for patients undergoing biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures Contribute to trauma response care as part of the embolization response team Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and procedural protocols, including required hospital-issued attire when applicable Apply now to join this Interventional Radiology travel nursing opportunity in Rochester, NY and advance your healthcare career today.
