Machinist

Jackson mechanical products company needs a machinist to set up and operate NC milling machine shop equipment. This client needs someone with experience making very high precision parts.

Should have experience as a machinist/machine operator working with NC metal shaping machines, such as mills, turning centers, machining centers, lathes, grinders, jig borers, drill press. This client wants someone with both CNC and manual machining experience.

This is an opportunity for you to work independently, inspecting your own work as you progress. Working with blueprints and specs, equipment manuals, operation sheets, etc., you will produce high quality parts and assemblies. You will use basic mechanical inspection equipment. Should have experience with CMM equipment, calipers, micrometers, comparators. Technical education certificate is a plus.
