WAITER/WAITRESS (FULL TIME)

Location: Air Canada Lounge LAX - 600 World Way, Terminal 6, Los Angeles, CA 90045 Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week. Days and hours may vary. Details discussed during interview. Pay Rate: $32.65 per hour Job Summary Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests. Responsibilities Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverage orders efficiently. Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards and assist with additional needs or requests. Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink combinations; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences; handle specialized diets and allergens as needed. Communicate with back‑of‑house staff to ensure correct delivery and special requests. Exhibit exceptional communication skills; remain flexible and patient with guests and staff. Collect tickets and perform proper cash‑handling procedures. Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests. Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information. Address complaints or issues promptly and communicate necessary information to supervisor. Ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service; keep area clean and meet sanitation standards. Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines. Collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Previous 1 year of serving experience preferred. Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
