Role Summary

We’re seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Recruiter to support our CTO and Tech Team in scaling our digital health platform. You’ll be instrumental in identifying staffing needs, drafting role descriptions, and sourcing talented tech volunteers from across the globe.

This is a key support role that helps ensure HHP’s tech initiatives remain innovative, resilient, and mission-aligned.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the CTO to understand current and upcoming technical needs.

Draft and post volunteer role descriptions on multiple platforms (e.g. VolunteerMatch, Idealist, LinkedIn).

Coordinate recruitment efforts, track applications, and schedule interviews.

Build a pipeline of high-quality tech talent across software development, data, UX/UI, QA, cybersecurity, and more.

Maintain records of applicants and contribute to the volunteer onboarding process.

Promote HHP’s mission and values to attract like-minded tech professionals.

Ideal Candidate

Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR, especially for tech roles.

Understanding of technical role requirements (or willingness to learn).

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously with a global team.

A strong passion for health equity, tech for good, or volunteerism.
