It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 102-bed facility, a large multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services. The Greater Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns.Position SummaryUnder general supervision and in accordance with established policies procedures and guidelines performs activities associated with the delivery of supply and distribution services and assist in resolution of routine problems and process and improvements.QualificationsEducation/Certification:High School Diploma or GED required.Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, maintain a driving record free of any violations and pass a safe driving educational program upon hire and annually thereafter in order to participate in the Fleet Vehicle Program.Experience:Twelve (12) months or more experience in an inventory management setting, warehouse, stock department, requisition ordering, or receiving supplies environment in order to gain a working knowledge of operation and procedures.Competencies:Ability to obtain needed certification(s) from manufacturers and from technology accrediting organizations is required.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and clearly with co-workers in the English language.A basic level of skill in the use of Microsoft Windows-based WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK software programs.
