About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Custom Carpenter/Fabricator to join our team. This position focuses on fine carpentry, custom fabrication, set construction, and field installation for unique indoor and outdoor projects.
The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on craftsmanship, creative problem-solving, and collaborating with a team to bring custom projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Perform fine carpentry for custom indoor and outdoor projects
- Build components for set designs and specialty installations
- Complete custom wood fabrication, assembly, and finishing tasks
- Assist with project installations in shop and field environments
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, fabrication plans, and millwork details
- Troubleshoot and resolve project challenges during fabrication and installation
- Collaborate with fabrication and project teams to meet deadlines
- Support other departments as business and project needs require
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of carpentry, millwork, or wood fabrication experience
- Experience with fine carpentry, custom builds, and specialty fabrication preferred
- Ability to read and understand architectural and fabrication drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
