Service & Repair Supply Planner - Orthopedics

Responsibilities Intake Service Depot Orders and validate them against available inventory and planned replenishment Execute manual allocation logic and distribute repair components to global depots Collaborate with the Service & Repair Replenishment Planner to resolve any Service & Repair depot backorders and respond to fulfillment issues raised by depot stakeholders Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment Track shipments to global depots and monitor on-time delivery and identify exceptions Work with transportation partners to resolve customs holds and expedite international shipments Create and process service depot sales orders and shipments in ERP systems to close fulfillment loop Communicate status updates and elevate supply or fulfillment risks to stakeholders as needed Resolve sales order-to-invoice discrepancies, returns, quality issues, and supplier non-conformances for global service depots, coordinating with S&R Replenishment Planner and depot stakeholders to achieve timely corrective actions Requirements Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Prior experience in a regulated environment (i.e. medical device, pharmaceutical) preferred 2–5 years of supply planning, inventory planning, materials management, or procurement experience — preferably supporting service/repair or manufacturing operations Experience working with, managing, and implementing ERP/MRP systems, (SAP, JDE XE, MDS&R) strongly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Knowledge of global logistics, customs processes, and international shipping documentation Proven ability to manage supplier interactions and resolve fulfillment issues Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work across multiple time zones Effective verbal and written communication skills; experience coordinating with global, cross-functional stakeholders Proactive, results-oriented self-starter who takes initiative to solve problems Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in supply chain management, inventory planning, and ERP systems, with a strong focus on logistics and international shipping processes. Proven ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and resolve fulfillment issues in a regulated environment.
